What is Duke of Edinburgh?

The Duke of Ed is a self-development program available to all young people. The Duke of Ed is non-competitive and encourages young people to set and achieve goals at a level appropriate to their needs and aspirations. This program is a voluntary program where participants design their own program that challenges them to set and meet goals whilst forging qualities of strength, resolve and commitment.

It runs for three years which involves the participation in levels of Bronze in year 9, Silver in year 10 and the Gold Award in year 11.
